One-Page Marketing Plan: Marketing Myself Through Process Automation at Church Headquarters

Problem

Inside Church Headquarters, critical operational workflows were slowed by outdated, manual processes and disjointed systems.

•SOP approvals were inefficient, requiring excessive manual steps.

•Resources and knowledge were scattered, making it difficult for internal teams to access what they needed.

•My challenge: not only improve systems, but also market my impact internally to leadership to ensure adoption and scale.

Solution

I approached this role as a marketer of solutions, using my skills to build both tools and visibility.

•Automation: Designed and deployed automation tools using Microsoft Copilot and Power Automate, significantly reducing approval times.

•Resource Hub: Created over 100 SharePoint pages, organizing SOPs, training materials, and internal resources for 10,000+ internal users.

•Process Optimization: Analyzed workflows to identify bottlenecks, and applied data-driven solutions for reporting and SOP efficiency.

•Internal Marketing: Packaged solutions as “internal case studies,” presenting results to leadership for visibility and future scaling.

•Reporting: Delivered clear, data-backed insights on process improvements, time savings, and engagement.

Results

• 10,000+ internal users gained access to centralized tools and resources.

• Hundreds of work hours saved through automation.

• 100+ SharePoint pages created for process transparency and scale.

• Leadership recognition for building visible, scalable internal systems.

• Ongoing use of created tools and processes beyond my internship.
